Start small and watch what each action spends

Choose a starting patch with room to grow, expand into nearby unclaimed land and watch your Army before attacking a named neighbor. Read Gold separately: a large army does not mean you can afford a City or Port. Get through a full cycle of growth, expansion and construction while keeping some troops in reserve.

Pixel Conquest runs inside Roblox and centers on building an army, capturing territory and fighting other players. Join the correct Roblox experience before following these steps; several unrelated games share its name.

Choose land before the countdown ends

The opening map asks you to PICK YOUR LAND. After selecting a position, TAP AGAIN TO MOVE lets you reconsider it during the opening selection. Inspect the surrounding land rather than choosing solely by how central the position looks.

A coast gives you somewhere to consider a Port later. Open land gives you nearby expansion targets. Crowded borders put rival holdings close to your first territory. Prefer a position where you can explain your next move: which nearby patch you intend to claim, which neighbor you need to watch and whether the shoreline offers a useful route.

Treat a coastal start as an option with tradeoffs. Access to water does not protect you from an early land attack, and an attractive island is not automatically easy to reach.

Read the four numbers that matter first

DisplayWhat to checkImmediate decision
ArmyCurrent troops and the capacity alongside themDecide whether you have a reserve for another attack.
GrowthThe per-second figure beneath ArmyWatch whether troops are recovering after a commitment.
TroopsThe number committed by Attack SizeCompare the outgoing force with the full Army total.
GoldCurrent balance and the live action priceDecide whether construction fits your budget.

Attack Size offers 25%, 50% and 75% choices in the current interface. These describe a commitment, not an opponent’s strength. Start by comparing the displayed Troops with your remaining Army; a larger percentage leaves less available for the next problem.

For example, 3.79K Army and a selected 25% commitment can display about 949 Troops. You do not need a combat formula to see the distinction: one figure represents your total, while the other is the force assigned to an action.

Expand into land you can identify

Check the target before repeatedly clicking it. Unclaimed plains, an enemy’s colored holding and open water are different situations. A successful open-land action produces advancing feedback; a water interaction can instead return That is open water.

After a move, glance at the action message and Army panel. Did the border change? Did troops leave? Are losses being recorded? This short check prevents you from continuing a failed input or escalating an attack you misunderstood.

Use expansion to create a usable position, rather than chasing the largest possible patch at once. New land gives you more borders to monitor. Pause when growth and incoming pressure need attention.

Build with a purpose

City, Port, Defense and Artillery are separate actions on the bar. A built City has a house icon, while a Port uses a sail motif on the coast. Look for confirmation such as CITY BUILT or PORT BUILT after construction.

Read the current price before every purchase. City and Port prices change during a match, so an amount remembered from the opening is not a permanent price list. Decide what the building is meant to solve before paying: a City-related position, coastal access or a threatened front. Avoid buying an expensive action merely because the button becomes affordable.

This Pixel Conquest beginner guide keeps nuclear actions for later. First learn how ordinary commitments affect your army and how a construction purchase changes your available Gold.

Attack a neighbor after checking the whole border

Compare the target’s map troop label with your own Army and committed Troops. Then scan your other edges. A weak-looking target can still leave you exposed if another neighbor attacks while your force is committed.

During an attack, watch the attacking message, territory color and loss counters together. A higher rank in Standings helps you follow the match. Keep checking the fight at your border, too. If the situation worsens, reassess before adding another large commitment.

FAQ

What should I do first in Pixel Conquest?

Choose land, identify nearby unclaimed territory and read Army, growth, Troops and Gold before committing to a rival fight.

Is a coastal start always best?

No. Coastline offers Port opportunities, but nearby opponents and the amount of usable land still matter.

Does 25% Attack Size mean a guaranteed safe attack?

No. It sets the troop commitment. Check the actual Troops number, opponent and remaining reserve for the current situation.

Are building prices fixed for the entire match?

Use the live action bar. City and Port prices change in the current interface; do not budget from a remembered opening value.
